FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
You register at least two days before the course starts.
On the evening before the course or on the day of the course itself, they first come to our ski school office to pay and, if necessary, to borrow the equipment.
On the day of the course we will all meet at the assembly point approx. 10 minutes before the start. The meeting point for all courses is opposite the Hotel Explorer in front of the Skikinderland.
Please allow enough time - especially on weekends and during the Bavarian school holidays you may have to wait.

The four ski school lifts (three rope lifts + one conveyor belt) in the Ski Kinderland are a service of the ski school and therefore free of charge.
All lifts of the Alpspitzbahn are chargeable. In cooperation with the Alpspitzbahn, we offer discounted lift tickets for our course participants. For the 2022/23 season, a 3-hour ticket for children (up to and including 17 years) costs € 15.00, plus € 2.00 chip card deposit. Adults pay € 21.00 for a 3-hour ticket, plus € 2.00 deposit. These lift tickets can be purchased at the ski school office or, in an emergency, from the ski instructor.

Every day there is floodlight operation at the Alpspitzbahn from 18:00 to 21:00.
During this time we offer private lessons by appointment.
The ski school office is identical to the rental shop and is located directly at the Alpspitzbahn car park.
We will be open daily, including Sundays and public holidays, from 8:30am to 6pm from 17/12/2022 until mid/end of March 2023.

Registration and appointments for private lessons must be made at least two days before the desired course by telephone, e-mail at info@skischule-nesselwang.de or in person at the ski school office. Telephone 08361 / 752.
The meeting point is then at the assembly point in front of the Ski-Kinderland (opposite the Hotel Explorer) at the sign "Treffpunkt Privatstunden".
We work in the rental shop without pre-booking.
It is best to have your equipment adjusted the day before at the ski school office (after 4:30 pm if possible).
If you come on the day of the ski course before the start of the course to rent equipment, please allow extra time (approx. 1 hour), especially at weekends and during holiday periods, so that you are at the meeting point in time for the start of the course at 10:00 or 13:30 (depending on your booking).
From the ski rental to the meeting point there is another 250 m to walk.
More than 50 artificial snow cannons help to produce snow.
If, despite this, skiing is not possible in Nesselwang, we will unfortunately have to cancel the ski course.

A Cross country „Schnupper“ course takes place every Wednesday from 1:30 to 3:30 pm.
Pre-registration by telephone or in person is necessary. A minimum number of participants is required for the course to take place.
Instruction also takes place in bad weather.
In extreme conditions, the course will be postponed.
During the Christmas and Carnival holiday period, new courses begin each day, incl. at weekends.
In January and February, Ski and Snowboard courses are offered every weekend at the usual course times from 10.00 to 12.30 hrs or 13:30 to 15:30 (only children beginners courses).
It is necessary to book for these courses.
